So then I was like "LJ server healthy, yet no notification emails?? awwww, nobody commented on my comic this weekend! ka-BURRRRRRN". And then I noticed that I posted it with security level "Private". d' HURRRRRHUURRHURRR* (*Sand People noise from the bit where they haven't whacked Luke with a stick yet, but they're definitely thinking about it.)( There aren't many words in it, from here on in. )
So. Where were we. Note: This plot and character misdirection has in no way been ratified by the SPACEMUMMY, owner of all applicable trademarks, copyrights and patents. It has, however, the full and feeler-wiggling approval of the organism known as "D".
I'VE BEEN POSTING REGULARLY THIS WHOLE FUCKING TIME YOU'RE JUST CONFUSED ( fluh )
I have the flu. Also the period. Let us fight each other with slaps and kicks and finger-nails.
Hurrrm. Where have I been, what did I eat, who are all these people and what have I done to them all, dear God, the poor bastards. Lissen folks. Thing is, the other night, I went out to this rock show. At this rock show, well more a sort of painfully sincere keyboard-folk show, I met a lady, a lady with arms, hands, legs and feet. And this lady she gave me... A BOX!!! AN OLD KINDA CRAPPY BOX!!!!! What's great is that the box contained thirty pages of original art that I forgot under her couch or something some two years ago. I POST SOME STUFF!!!In this box, we have originals of: - Grub! - Grök! - Das Babytötenmeer! - J vs. rats! - Romance has Denture Breath! - A totally crappy cover illo that I'm never posting!
Also there was a Flux-Socialist three-pager in the box that I've never posted here before. I should 'splain maybe - these "lost" comics, I've posted most of 'em here already, by dint of (give or take) fourth-generation copies. For example, this: ...originally looked more like THIS: Hmm. It's pretty much like the digitally remastered garbage-masher scene where you can see it's all Styrofoam, huh. Fuck, aren't I silly. Anyway, here's that lost three-pager, which I never scanned (like back in the day) because I decided it was all crappy. La: PS I've been meeting a lot of socially conscious people lately, what with my job, and it appears some of them have found this blog. So I'd like to quite strongly point out: WHAT I DO HERE IS NOT POLITICAL, LADIES. "Socialist" is preeeeety much just a word to me, which I used in naming this for few other reasons than that I really dig those Iron Curtain red-and-charcoal colour schemes. That being said, enjoy the rats and dongs.
Another odd one from the vaults. Beware enormous image ( behind the cut )
I meandered off this storyline a few weeks ago (due to it being so horrible in content and such an effort to draw). Going to try to pinch it off soon - it's been nagging at me. For those who came in late, the first ten pages of it are here: one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten... The lady, F (also called Klempner 214), is singing in the last panel. The song is "Mein Hahn ist tot" - apparently some sort of variously European folk tune. Mein Hahn ist tot Mein Hahn ist tot Er singt nicht mehr co-co-di, co-co-da Er singt nicht mehr co-co-di, co-co-da.Which translates as "My cock is dead. No more shall he sing cock-a-doodle-doo." Ha ha, I drew this while babysitting. (The kid was asleep in the other room the whole time and saw nothing, just so you know.)
God, I was a sad kid. NO WONDER NOBODY TOOK ME TO PROM. X'0
Here we have an autobiographical work-in-progress ( weighing 125K )
This is part of a comics-ish art project I'm doing in collaboration with the groovy yet tormented Mr. Ian Christy. It's wicked political. Also, we like zombies. ... Additional... could someone let me know if the above image is visible? Possible problems with the server...
This is a comic I drew for my friend Ryan Mitchel-Morrison's 27th birthday present. Posted here with his offhand permission. ( click for the comic - 230K total ) |
