Sunday Comics - Grök (1 of 4)

You're imagining things. I wouldn't forget to post, and then backdate it. That would be... insane.

willkommen = "Welcome!" (That's what's written above the door.)
und jetzt is die Familie Fluxe-Sozialiste hier nach Ihren Vergnügen! = "And now, for your amusement, here's the Flux-Socialist Family."
Datum = "date"
Innerhalb = "inside..."
Wer ist das? = "Who's that?"
Ich weiß nicht. = "I don't know."
spielt = "plays"
bei der junger Familie = "with the young family"
Realität = "Reality!!"
Geißblatt = "Honeysuckle" (here used as a term of endearment.)

For those who came in late, here's the Dramatis Perbonae:
the Bastards: Mr. Amway (with the dark runny body-meats, and pouty lips); two interchangeable drones, named Nixon and Carter
the Unfortunates: a young proletarian couple, F for Fergüßen (that's she with the stringy hair) and J for Järvis (that is he).
and the Inexplicable: two live babies. The one with the harelip is named Grök.

PREVIOUS STORY: GRUB

NEXT WEEK: Grök, page 2 of 4.

Ah... glad I checked your journal page... this didn't show up in my 'friends' list, I guess because of the *cough* backdating.

I wasn't yet aware of Heinlein or his famed piece of neologizzery when I wrote and drew these stories; curiously, though, what I mean by it isn't so far off the mark.

I was going to cross post this to your messageboard, but it is broken. PS how do I phrase a query to return all rows where field "hurf" contains string "boners".
