What a pleasant surprise. A random drive-by comment from a fellow comic book/Brian Froud/Ivan Brunetti fan. (By the way, you should check out my entry with the super-ginchy sketch of me that Ivan sent with my birthday present. I believe it's on the next page of my LJ somewhere, but hell, read the entire thing, should you wish to. At your leisure, of course. I certainly intend to continue reading yours. As well as sitting in absolute awe and admiration of your artwork. I love when such talented hands take the time to type out messages to little ole me.)

The smooch is equally appreciated, and consider it returned in kind. :)

Aww... that Brunetti fellow is such a swee'pea. He sent me a happy little thank-you note with a doodle and everything a few years ago, despite the fact that the fan mail I sent him was annoyingly incoherent. And he is now all shaved-like? But now people will know he's impotent!! (to quote the man himself, heh).

By the way, I'm on a campaign of comix-trading with everyone I can collar on [info]mailwhore, [info]minicomics and elsewhere. As long as I'm sending comix to strangers far and wide, it wouldn't be no trouble hardly to send one more envelope, if you'd like.

Woohoo! Free comix!! I LOVE adding new shtuff to my mini-comics/'zines/and various other more-talented-than-me goodies! So, yes, please...send me something! E-mail me at AlvaStarr@lonely-fetus.com so that I can reply with my mailing address, and also include yours, so I can send you some ginchy goodies in return. I, too, have a mini-comic I would very much like to share with you, as well as a second self-published poetry and prose book, which is where the majority of my talent lays - the verbal realm. (I'm gonna put a glimpse of its cover on here for you to see in the meantime). Also, I've quite the collection of mix tapes that I've dubbed the "GINCHY!" Soundtrack Volumes that I tend to push on every new remotely nifty-seeming person I meet. The first volume happens to have Gorky's on it, so methinks you'll rather dig the rest. I also like to send people homemade panties that say "Hello, My Name Is Muffy" or a picture of the cover for The Cramps' "Smell Of Female", but I don't think you'd have much use for those. Nor for my growing more and more popular Prozac "bead" bracelets. Ho hum. Looks like it'll just be an assortment of music, minis, and tales of mischief coming your way. Yeehaw and Praise Bob!
